Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 20 minutes Total Time: 35 minutes Total Servings: 4 Ingredients: • 500g boneless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces • 1/2 cup soy sauce • 1/2 cup ketchup • 1/4 cup cornstarch • 1 medium onion, chopped Directions: 1. Prepare the Chicken: ? In a bowl, mix the chicken pieces with cornstarch until the chicken is well-coated. This will give the chicken a nice, crispy texture when cooked. 2. Cook the Chicken: ? Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat and add a small amount of oil. ? Add the chicken pieces to the skillet, cooking in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding. ? Cook the chicken until golden brown and fully cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per batch. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside. 3. Cook the Onions: ? In the same skillet, add a little more oil if needed. ? Add the chopped onions and sauté until they are soft and translucent, about 3-4 minutes. 4. Create the Sauce: ? Add the soy sauce and ketchup to the onions, stirring well to combine. ? Allow the sauce to simmer for a few minutes until it starts to thicken slightly. 5. Combine Chicken and Sauce: ? Return the cooked chicken pieces to the skillet. ? Toss the chicken in the sauce until well-coated and heated through, about 2-3 minutes. 6. Serve: ?
